Bath Annual Firework Safety Poster Competition is launched
Bath’s annual firework safety poster competition was launched today at Threeways School by Rotary Club of Bath and Bath University’s RAG along side main sponsor Bath Building Society. More

Defence company reign supreme at Charity Brain Challenge
Bath’s historic Assembly Rooms were once again the setting for the hugely popular Brain of Bath quiz event – the annual brain teaser in support of Julian House.  22 teams from Bath and Bristol competed for the coveted title of 2012 champions and the event raised over £8,000 for Julian House. More

The 2012 Charity Award Scheme results
The Society received a record number of applications for it’s annual Charity Award Scheme. 53 applications were received from local charities and organisations, all looking for a share of the Award Scheme funding or hot air balloon tickets to use for fundraising activities. The judging panel was made up of the Mayor of Bath (Cllr Andrew Furse), the Society’s Chief Executive (Dick Jenkins) , the Managing Director of The Breeze FM (Steve Jones) and the Society’s Community & Retail Operations Manager (Jonathan Cook). More

Bath Businesses throw themselves into Skydive
£3,200 was raised in aid of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance by a courageous team of seven representatives of Bath based businesses who jumped from a plane in a charity sky dive. More

Bath Building Society Bucks the trend
Bath Building Society has today (9th March 2012) announced its annual results showing a pre-tax profit up 77% on last year and a 10.4% increase in its reserves from £15 to £17 million. More
