Local charities and groups can apply for donations of between £250 and £1,500 to help fund community-based initiatives.
Since 2006, when the Awards were launched, Bath Building Society has awarded many thousands of pounds in over fifty grants to local charities and community groups, helping to fund projects for a variety of causes throughout the city. Money has been allocated to all manner of schemes, from a small knitting group to a charity supporting cancer patients. As well as this the Society has supported local playgroups, sports teams and elderly care homes.
The Awards are once again being supported by the Quartet Foundation, the Mayor of Bath and the Bath Chronicle.
Jonathan Cook from Bath Building Society, said, “The awards were set up in 2006 to help Bath people
