Christmas wish list for Bath Charities
|
The Bath Chronicle and Bath FM have joined forces to support Bath Building Society’s Charity Wish-List this Christmas, and are appealing to businesses and individuals across the city for help.
A “Wish-List” of items needed by charities has been created, following on from Bath Building Society’s annual charity awards which took place in October. Many worthy causes applied for a monetary award this year, with various charities being given grants of up to £1,000.
Whilst the Society would have liked to have helped every cause asking for financial support, they were unable to make a donation to everyone who applied due to limited funds.
It was apparent to the Bath Building Society’s award panel that many charities across B&NES needed help, and their aim was to try to help as many charities as possible. The Bath Building Society Charity Wish-List was therefore devised with the idea of securing useful items for the charities, donated from businesses and individuals across the city.

The Wishlist appeal officially launches today, with all donations being co-ordinated by Eventy – Marketing & PR (Bath Building Society’s marketing consultants), and it is hoped that businesses, organizations and individuals in Bath will embrace the season of good will and offer their support.
Dick Jenkins, Chief Executive of Bath Building Society commented, “The charity Wish List has come about as a response to the annual Bath Building Society Charity Awards, and I’m delighted that we will hopefully be able to help even more people in the local community. There are many charities in and around Bath that do superb work for the people that need it most, and I am optimistic that by working together we can show our appreciation for their efforts as the festive season approaches.”
