Free Seminar Offers Advice in the Recession

As the recession takes hold across the country, and with returns from traditional savings being historically low, investors in and around Bath are being encouraged to explore their options at a seminar being held later this month.

Hosted by Bath & City Financial, a subsidiary company of the Bath Building Society Group, the seminar - 'Economic overview and the advantages of tax-free savings', is open to anyone who wishes to learn more about the current economic climate, and how best to take full advantage of current tax-free saving opportunities.

The seminar will focus on three key areas;

* Overview of current global markets,
* Possible suitable investment models,
* Current guidelines around Individual Savings Accounts.

Ian Potter of Bath and City Financial

Ian Potter, one of the Bath & City Financial Independent Financial Advisors says the seminar could offer many benefits to those wishing to attend. He said, "The seminar is a useful opportunity for those who are keen to optimise their investments in the current market, and for anyone looking for a clearer understanding of the economic situation facing the UK."

"It is always important to consider investing wisely, and given the current climate we felt that it would be useful to provide a source of information from industry experts for anyone who wishes to attend."

"The seminar is free of charge, and we are also able to give advice by appointment to anyone who is unable to attend on the day."

The seminar is being held on Wednesday 25th February between 10.30am and
12.30pm at the Lansdown Golf Club. Anyone wishing to attend, or to book an appointment with Bath & City Financial, should
contact Rosie Halliwell on 01225 475700.
