Salary: £35k-£38k plus benefits, dep. on experience
This is an excellent opportunity to play an important role within the small finance team of one of the most successful local Building Societies in the United Kingdom. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Prudential Risk, you will lead in the preparation of the Society’s management accounts and assist in the production of the annual statutory accounts. You will also play a key part in the preparation and submission of financial statistical returns to regulatory bodies.
The successful applicant must be professionally qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) and have demonstrable experience of management or financial accounts preparation. Some knowledge of regulatory reporting would be desirable, but this is not essential as full training will be provided. You will possess strong interpersonal and IT skills including Excel to an advanced level. Sage experience would also be beneficial.
