Ash Kassam
Chief Finance Officer
Ash started out his banking career as an accountant in the City and has worked for the likes of Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, RBS & Credit Suisse. He then moved into Retail Banking with Lloyds Bank where he was Finance Director for Treasury. He joined Bath Building Society from Harpenden Building Society where he was Finance Director.
A few people have commented on Ash’s ‘strange accent’ (his words not ours!). It’s a combination of being born in Kenya, formative schooling years in Canada and polishing off in the UK. Ash is a keen golfer and although his game isn’t quite up to scratch, his one claim to fame is a ‘Hole In One’ back in 2017. He is married with two teenagers and lives in London.
