Our annual Charity Awards programme is a big part of our commitment to the local community. Over the years we’ve donated well over £100,000 to small local charities and community groups as part of the Awards campaign.
NEW for 2021: It’s time for you, our Members to get involved.
How will it work?
We will be asking Bath Building Society colleagues to nominate a charity close to their heart, who they feel do great work in the local community, and they would like to see the Society partner with as our next Charity of the Year.
Then later in the Spring we will contact Members with a shortlist of three charities to vote for. This year’s chosen charity will actually be the Society’s Charity of the ‘Year’ for 18 months as we are also moving to a calendar year from January 2023, which makes more sense all round!
In addition to the Charity of the Year, local charities and community groups are invited to apply for one of our cash awards that are chosen by a judging panel, or hot air balloon tickets that can be auctioned or raffled to raise funds.

- 3 pairs of tickets for a flight above Bath in the Bath Building Society hot air balloon
