Our Charity Awards 2023 are now open

The Awards have opened this week to entries from charities and community groups with a turnover of £250k or less.
We have been in business for over 119 years and have grown considerably in recent years. With our business focus within Bath and the surrounding areas, the Society now has a large presence throughout the West of England. The cornerstone of our approach is our emphasis on personal service and the community in which we operate. For many years the Society has invested a meaningful proportion of its profit into the community, well in excess of the figure of 1% viewed as “best practice” by Business in the Community. Our support in the past has been pledged to a wide range of organisations including: The Bath Shed, Three Ways School, Share & Repair and Reason.
Year on year we receive a growing number of applications. We are hopeful that not only will we continue to receive requests from the larger, perhaps more confident organisations, but we will also make the application process simpler and straight forward for the smaller organisations.
We are very grateful to Quartet Community Foundation and The Rotary Club Bath for their support with the 2023 scheme.

Tuesday 2 May 2023: Charity Awards scheme opened
Friday 2 June 2023: Closing date for applications
Week 26 June 2023: Charity committee meeting and judging
